Carnival Cruise Line to Send Two Cruise Ships to China

The line previously announced it would be sending ships from its fleet to the country in 2017, but had not specified which ships. The line’s foray into China begins with Carnival Miracle in spring 2017 and is followed by Carnival Splendor in spring 2018. First Dedicated LGBT Cruise Line, Anteros, Set to Offer Year-Round Sailing

(5:35 p.m. EDT) — A new cruise line, called Anteros, will offer year-round sailings for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender passengers, beginning in 2017. The first dedicated cruise line for LGBT passengers will use a 400-passenger ship for its sailings, which will begin in the Mediterranean in 2017, said Marc Baron, the line’s director of business development.
