(12:05 p.m. EST) — Sparkle lovers, rejoice: The first Tiffany & Co. boutique at sea is opening on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas tomorrow.
The freestanding store will be in the ship’s Central Park neighborhood, which is also home to a Coach store. The boutique, which will have the same luxury look at the company’s stores on land, will offer a full selection of Tiffany jewelry, including engagement rings and watches.
«We are delighted that Royal Caribbean guests will now have the opportunity to explore Tiffany’s legendary collections in an environment of luxury and service that is unique among the world’s premier jewelers,» said Luciano Rodembusch, vice president of Tiffany & Co. Latin America, in a press release. «For 178 years we have been creating the most beautiful love stories and Oasis of the Seas offers a unique and memorable setting.»
Other designer stores on Oasis of the Seas include Kate Spade and Michael Kors.
Carnival Cruise Line to Celebrate ‘Grinchmas’
As an offshoot of its Seuss at Sea programming, Carnival Cruise Line will bring The Grinch aboard December sailings on all of its ships. In an attempt to disrupt Christmas, the well-known curmudgeon will make both scheduled and unannounced appearances to playfully interfere with onboard holiday festivities. Related events and activities include Grinch-themed arts and crafts and screenings of «How the Grinch Stole Christmas» (both animated and live-action versions). The Grinch will also be incorporated into the line’s Seuss-themed «Green Eggs and Ham» breakfasts, which, along with Seuss-a-Palooza parades and story time events, make up Carnival’s Seuss at Sea offerings.
