(11:35 a.m. EST) — Carnival Inspiration will undergo a multimillion-dollar refurbishment during a three-week dry dock in Oregon from January 18 to February 5. Highlights of the makeover include Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, as well as three new bars.
Carnival Inspiration will become the ninth Carnival cruise ship with the poolside Guy’s Burger Joint, where hefty burgers and crunchy fresh-cut fries are served up daily. Also poolside – and complimentary – will be BlueIguana Cantina, which offers burritos and tacos with an elaborate toppings and salsa bar.
Three new bars will be added. The poolside RedFrog Rum Bar offers a selection of rum-based drinks, while BlueIguana Tequila Bar offers tequila-based drinks. Both serve up a selection of beers as well as frozen cocktails. At the pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar, passengers can try a variety of creative libations with names like “Forty is the New Twenty” and “The Restorative Basil Drop.”
Also added will be Cherry on Top, Carnival’s fanciful candy shop.
Carnival Inspiration will resume its year-round schedule of three- and four-night Baja cruises out of Long Beach, California after it exits dry dock.
