(10:20 a.m. EST) — Nothing says “girl power” like snagging the MasterChef Junior title and a spot onboard the hit TV series’ Holland America theme cruise.
Ten-year-old Addison Osta Smith, crowned the show’s first female winner in the season 4 finale held January 29, has joined the all-star lineup on the second annual MasterChef Cruise. From November 6 – 13, Holland America’s Nieuw Amsterdam will set the stage (and table) for Smith, her fellow semifinalist Zac Kara, MasterChef winners Luca Manfe and Claudia Sandoval and more.
Throughout the cruise, fans will get a get a taste of the popular culinary competition through a series of themed activities. The chefs will host cooking demos and lessons, participate in Mystery Box Challenges and compete in a cook-off to determine the MasterChef Cruise champion. MasterChef Juniors also will go head to head in a Grilled Cheese Showdown.
Additionally, fans can enjoy a dinner menu created by the MasterChef Juniors and meet their favorite contestants in a meet and greet.
The cruise will sail from Fort Lauderdale roundtrip and visit Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Maarten and the line’s private island, Half Moon Cay.
