(12:15 p.m. EST) — Carnival Cruise Line will roll out its American Table menu on Carnival Miracle and Carnival Sunshine on March 5. The menu, which offers dishes like chickpea biscuits and braised rabbit, has been slowly expanding across the Carnival fleet since late 2013.
The menu has received mixed reviews on the Cruise Critic message boards.
"My family just sailed with the new menus for the first time and we all agreed that there are less entree choices and we all had a difficult time finding something we liked," says trvlgirlmq.
Meanwhile, others, like member Clearwater, sing the menu’s praises: "I am very excited about the new menus. Every night has some new item I can’t wait to order."
