(2 p.m. AEST) — February has been a busy month for Australia’s APT
and Travelmarvel. The two APT Group companies launched itineraries in new destinations and introduced two new Myanmar vessels, which recently sailed on maiden voyages from Yangon to Mandalay.
APT’s RV Samatha has 30 luxurious suites plus a sundeck and swimming pool, while Travelmarvel’s RV Princess Panhwar’s 36 cabins and suites take advantage of the Irrawaddy River’s spectacular scenery.
APT also debuted a 74-suite river ship, MS AmaDolce, which will operate a choice of five new Bordeaux cruises on the Garonne and Dordogne rivers.
In New Zealand, APT is combining coach touring and cruise touring with a new, all-inclusive, 23-night ‘NZ Voyager’ itinerary that includes a 14-night cruise on Holland America Line’s Noordam.
Travelmarvel will be offering small ship ocean cruising as part of its Tasmanian program for 2016/17, combining a seven-night expedition cruise aboard Coral Expeditions I with a land tour from Launceston to Hobart.
