Norwegian Cruise Line Increases Prices on Dining and Beverage Packages

(4:50 p.m. EST) — Norwegian Cruise Line has raised the prices of its dining and Ultimate Beverage packages each by $10 per person, per day.

In addition, the cost of the Corks and Caps Beverage Package — which includes draft and bottled beer, wines up to $15, and fountain soda and juices — has gone up by $5 per person, per day, from $54 to $59.

The price for the Ultimate Beverage package — which includes everything the Corks and Caps Package, plus spirits and cocktails up to $15 each — is now $79 per person, per day, up from $69. (It still does not include bottled water, specialty coffee beverages or bottles of wine.)

Soda package pricing remains the same at $7.50 per person per day.

The price increases will be rolled out across the Norwegian fleet — with the exception of Norwegian Sky and Pride of America, which will only see dining package increases, as they don’t offer alcoholic beverage packages — through March 15.

These latest upcharges come after a series of price increases imposed by the line over the past few months, including upcharges for food items in the main dining rooms, replacing a cover charge in specialty restaurants for a la carte pricing and adding a fee for room service.
