(2:10 p.m. EDT) — Carnival Cruise Line and Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri are taking their relationship to the next level. The brains behind Guy’s Burger Joint — which can be found on most Carnival cruise ships — has debuted his newest venue, a BBQ joint with a sauce bar, onboard Carnival Magic.
Dubbed Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse, the casual open-air restaurant was added to the ship’s Lanai and Promenade Deck area during a February 2016 dry dock. It serves up a variety of barbecue dishes using Fieri’s recipes, rubs and spices, as well as a traditional wood smoker.
Menu items include Mac Daddy Mac n Cheese, Old Skool Potato Salad, Scratch-Made Slaw, Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey, and Molasses Baked Beans with Bacon and Burnt Ends. Similar to Guy’s Burger Joint’s setup, where passengers can add their own toppings, the new restaurant features a wide range of Fieri’s signature sauces, such as Award-Winning Brown Sugar (sweet and sticky), Kansas City (smoky and sweet), Sriracha BBQ (spicy and tangy) and Carolina #6 (tangy with sweet heat) to complement dishes.
The venue is complimentary and open from noon to 2:30 p.m. on sea days.

During the refurb, Carnival Magic also welcomed the RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar and Cantina, Pizzeria del Capitano, Alchemy Bar and Cherry on Top candy shop.
The ship will continue to sail seven-night cruises from Galveston through April 10, before repositioning to Port Canaveral April 23 — where it will offer seven-night Caribbean Cruises year-round.
