(10:30 a.m. EDT) — Based on popularity of similar voyages, Oceania Cruises announced its fifth Around the World in 180 Days sailing for 2018.
Departing from Miami on January 3, 2018 onboard the 684-passenger Insignia, the five-continent voyage will travel more than 39,000 nautical miles across three oceans, visiting 87 ports of call in 40 countries.
The cruise will include a total of 16 overnight stays in 13 locations around the world, returning to Miami on July 1, 2018, via the Panama Canal. Passengers will visit 20 capitals and 56 UNESCO World Heritage Sites throughout the Caribbean, South America, the USA, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Destinations include Cape Town, South Africa; Bora Bora, French Polynesia; Yangon, Myanmar and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
While on board, passengers will enjoy Insignia’s range of facilities, including the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, Artist Loft enrichment center and fine cuisine created by the cruise line’s award-winning culinary director, Jaques Pépin.
Cruisers booked on the entire voyage will also be able to experience special shore side events, such as lunch in the iconic 1,076-foot high Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand.
